Also, Retin-A  helps control sebum obstruction, which has a key role in hair loss. It is believed that sebum, the oily and waxy substance that helps retain moisture in the skin, contains DTH (the hormone that causes hair loss). When the fat is trapped in the pores, skin DTH reabsorbed and therefore affect hair growth. Retin-A  stimulates renewal of skin unblocks the sebaceous glands and hair follicles, and decreases the amount of DTH which absorbs the scalp.
